Joy and Meal is a full-service provider of on-site cooking experiences for corporate teams and families, from 1 to 30 people, bringing together chefs, customers, and kitchens. We create an integrated ecosystem that connects underutilized capacity (chefs and kitchens) with busy people. Customers can book and manage their cooking sessions with just a few clicks, whether for in-home meal prep for the work week, in-home private celebrations, or cooking classes, such as team building (for example: learning meal-prep menus or delicious gluten-free recipes). We offer great variety and flexibility in culinary choices and take care of all recurring arrangements, formalities, and tedious paperwork, so it’s a simple and pleasant experience for everyone. We enable the high flexibility and uncomplicated booking processes that users need, as well as fair prices and fair earnings for the chefs. We’re rebuilding the food system from the ground up and redefining how we prepare, consume, and share meals daily and who can participate in the food economy. Our approach helps citizens reduce food waste in their households, which is a massive global problem and drives climate change, and promotes healthier living through freshly prepared meals by reducing consumption of highly processed foods and the impact of poor nutrition on European health systems.
