On to the moon! Why Bavaria is planning a moonport: German space company OHB SE is establishing its own center for developing lunar infrastructure in Bavaria together with European Moonport Company – a step of high strategic importance for Europe’s role in the coming race to the moon. The company will advance concepts such as a central lunar logistics hub and strengthen Europe’s capability for sustainable lunar presence.
