Claid is growing. We’re looking for full-stack and backend developers (m/f/d) for our next stage.
We develop specialized AI software for Germany’s largest insolvency law firms.
Timeline:
September 2025: €750,000 pre-seed funding round
May 2026: Achieved 80% month-over-month growth
June 2026: Moved into our new office on Leopoldstraße
We’re now looking for ambitious software engineers who want to grow with us.
What you’ll work on
You’ll develop data models, services, and interfaces for our platform. You’ll represent domain relationships clearly and coordinate interface design with the frontend team.
You’ll build background processes for importing, processing, and analyzing documents and case data. You’ll ensure results remain consistent, even with large data volumes and repeated processing.
You’ll integrate AI capabilities into reliable processing workflows, make relevant case file content discoverable, and check the quality of structured outputs.
You’ll account for access permissions and the separation of law firms’ data in data models and interfaces, and verify that information is available only to authorized people.
You’ll improve execution times and database queries, make processes traceable in production, and validate changes with targeted tests.
What you bring
You have experience in backend development and can explain the reasoning behind your decisions on data models, interfaces, and how responsibilities are divided between services.
You work confidently with databases, understand the importance of consistent data, and can identify the causes of slow queries.
When designing asynchronous workflows, you consider retries, interruptions, and concurrent access, and develop solutions that are easy to understand.
You consciously balance implementation speed, reliability, and maintainability. You verify your work through tests and monitor how it behaves in production.
You contribute your own ideas, take ownership of implementation, and discuss architecture and code openly with the team. You’re willing to be persuaded by stronger arguments.
You understand German well enough to confidently follow domain requirements, documents, and team discussions (at least C1 level).
