Mojitofilms
Mojitofilms: The AI concierge for cinema: Mojitofilms’ story almost came to an end in 2025. Then it turned out that of all things, a single feature of the film app held the greatest potential: the AI concierge Moji. Founder Shahram Shahangi combines computer science, digital marketing, and his passion for film. Today, he wants to help cinemas and festivals better reach their audiences with Moji, discover suitable films through dialogue, and shorten the path to purchasing tickets. (Photo: Mojitofilms GmbH)
This moving box from The Ocean Package is meant to have 20 lives: With “Ocean Move”, the startup The Ocean Package is focusing on foldable reusable moving boxes made of polypropylene, which according to the company can be used up to 20 times and then recycled up to 99 percent. Co-founder Philip Mayer aims to establish an alternative to single-use cardboard boxes that can be integrated into the existing processes of moving companies without replacing the familiar cardboard box with a bulky hard-shell crate. “We Are Not Machines”: Why Founders Can’t Go Full Throttle Nonstop: 60, 70, or even 80 hours of work per week are quickly associated with exceptional dedication and success in the startup world – for HR expert Ilya Ballier, this exact equation is problematic. In the Pitch & People videocast, she discusses why chronic stress is not a sustainable growth model, which warning signs founders should take seriously, and why startups need clear HR structures early on. Nnexoro
Nnexoro Brings Two Business Angels on Board: Nnexoro closes its first angel round. The Munich-based AI startup was founded by Selim Ruppert and Julian Lorenz and now brings on two investors, Stefan Smalla and Dennis Vogt, to expand its “digital colleague” Carl. The system is designed primarily to handle coordination tasks, bringing together people, assignments, and customers. (Photo: nnexoro GmbH)
HTGF
HTGF plans 150 investments with new seed fund: With HTGF V, the High-Tech Gründerfonds once again plans to invest early in tech startups. The focus includes AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology. Fundraising is now underway. (Photo: Partrycia Lukas / HTGF)
Reformer Club founders Marlene Schöbel and Stephanie Adolf
2 million euros in funding for Reformer Club: Reformer Club receives two million euros from Vorwerk Ventures. With this, the Munich-based fitness startup now has ambitious plans that extend beyond Germany’s borders. (Photo: Reformer Club / Mirjam Hagen)
Munich Startup Experts: Scout checks – what founders should know: Scout checks are appearing on more and more German cap tables, usually under a name that looks cryptic at first glance. Munich Startup Expert, investor, and scout Robert Richarz explains how these programs are structured, who makes money on what, and what founders should ask before accepting the money.
