Quantum Systems
Quantum Systems secures 63.6 million euros: In a Series B funding round, Quantum Systems raises 63.6 million euros for its electric reconnaissance drones. This brings the total funding amount for the Munich-based drone manufacturer to over 100 million euros, making Quantum Systems the first European company to receive more than 100 million euros for a dual-use technology. Scalable Capital
Scalable Capital receives 60 million euros: Two years ago, 150 million euros already went into the accounts of Munich fintech Scalable Capital as part of a Series E round. Tacto
AI startup Tacto secures 50 million euros: Tacto helps companies gain overview of their purchasing and build future-proof supply chains. The Munich-based startup has now raised 50 million euros. Lead investors in the round are Sequoia Capital and Index Ventures. Existing shareholders Visionaries Club, Cherry Ventures, and UVC Partners are also participating in the funding round. Lanes & Planes
Lanes & Planes closes Series B: With an all-in-one approach, Lanes & Planes handles travel bookings, approvals, and expense management in a digital platform that enables integrations with all existing enterprise systems.
With a Series B investment of 33 million euros (35 million dollars) led by US investor Smash Capital, the Munich-based startup strengthened its finances. Existing investors Battery Ventures, Coparion, DN Capital, and AllIron also participated in the round. The investment is intended to support Lanes & Planes’ growth and expansion efforts. Orbem
Orbem raises 30 million euros in Series A: The Munich startup Orbem combines imaging technologies with artificial intelligence to address complex challenges. With its AI innovation for scanning biological samples, the young company has already brought a solution to market that contributes to sustainability in the poultry industry. Orbem has now successfully completed a Series A funding round of 30 million euros. Venture capital firm 83North leads the funding round, with La Famiglia joining as a new investor. Evum Motors
Successful Series B for Evum Motors: Evum Motors develops electric commercial vehicles for niche applications. In a Series B funding round, the startup has now secured nearly 20 million euros. The round is led by Jolt Capital and supported by other existing investors such as Bayern Kapital. Luma Vision
Medtech startup Luma Vision raises 20 million euros: Luma Vision, developer of a four-dimensional cardiac imaging and navigation platform, has completed funding of 20 million euros (22 million dollars). The German-Irish startup based in Dublin and Munich promises improved treatment outcomes and simplified surgical procedures with its platform. The round is led by existing investors EQT Lifesciences, Atlantic Bridge University Fund, and Imec xpand.
