nThe Life Science Factory as a springboard for life science startups: Since 2024, Munich has had a “Life Science Factory” with fully equipped laboratories. The area was originally founded in 2018 by German pharmaceutical company Sartorius with the goal of promoting startups and scientific progress in the life science sector. Since 2022, there has been a location in Göttingen. Startups housed in the Life Science Factory receive industry insights and founding support as well as access to valuable contacts and tailored investor matching. Well-known partners alongside Sartorius include companies such as Die Techniker, KWS Saat, Taylor Wessing, and Promega. Martin Strehle, Community Manager in Munich, answered our questions.
