Starting at minute 2:15, we focus on the funding rounds in September. Qwello received 65 million euros for its turnkey charging solution for electric cars. The biotech startup Irubis has completed an investment of undisclosed amount. Zählerfreunde, a startup whose solution revolves around smart meters, secured a seven-figure funding round. Lendorse, in turn, is revolutionizing financing models for students with its offering and fresh 10 million euros. Workerhero received over 4 million euros for its AI-based recruiting solution. Reverion and its small power plant with the capability to generate hydrogen and methane was worth 56 million euros to various investors.

At Golfstrom, the register rang with a seven-figure sum. The startup specializes in financing solutions for solar contractors. The medtech Symphera raised 2.4 million euros. At the biotech CPTx it was 26 million euros. With Reactive Robotics, another medtech startup was able to win investors in September and secure 4 million euros. At Deepdrive, 50 million euros landed in the account. The startup is known for its electric motors for electric vehicles. Phlair is working on removing CO2 from the atmosphere and withdrew 14.5 million euros from the wallets of various investors for this purpose. Egym became Munich’s next unicorn in September with its 180-million-euro Series G. And Marvel Fusion convinced investors to invest another 60 million euros in its laser-based fusion energy project.

Furthermore, something was missed in the recording that should not be kept quiet here: The Munich drone manufacturer Quantum Systems successfully expanded its Series B funding. The total amount of the round increased to 100 million euros.

Acquisitions and other success stories in the newsflash

In the acquisitions section of our newsflash (minute 11:05), it’s about Wellabe, which was bought by Austrian company Mavie, and Egym, which secured US corporate fitness provider Fitreserve and thus brings its Wellpass offering to the American market.

Beyond that, in episode 87 are the new CEO of Konux, the extension of the Social Startup Hub Bayern, and the winners of the founders’ competition Weconomy (starting at minute 12:10). We also take a look at the rebranding of shopping rewards company Global Savings Group, which will operate as Atolls in the future.
