The rise of a European start-up scene –
what are the key drivers of innovation and entrepreneurship?
Innovation and entrepreneurship are key drivers for economic growth. Groundbreaking business ideas have emerged in established contexts – universities, large enterprises or in the public sector – but also in the emerging world of start-ups. Europe is often seen as lagging behind when it comes to its start-up scene. Yet, a closer look reveals a vibrant community, which has given birth to some of today’s global digital champions.
Our event aims at discussing what leads those businesses towards success. Three founders will share their own experience on what made their initiative successful. Michał Brzezicki will speak for SentiOne (Wasaw, Poland), Stefan Stanescu for AgriSo (Bucharest, Rumania) and Felix Harteneck for ParkHere (Munich, Germany). Our panelists will then discuss what the EU should do in order to create an optimal environment for start-ups – looking at regulation, finance and talent.
